Dr. S. C. Rai Mayor of Lucknow visited Montreal from 14^th September to 20^th September 2000. Chitravanshi Association gave a reception dinner in the honor of Mayor of Lucknow on Saturday 16^th September 2000 at 7:00 PM at Bharat Bhavan Foundation. The president of Chitravanshi Association and Chairman board of directors Bharat Bhavan Foundation Mr. A. N. Srivastava welcomed the Mayor and introduced Mrs. Brij Bala Jakhu President of Bharat Bhavan Foundation, who announced the signing of a declaration of partnership between city of Lucknow and Bharat Bhavan Foundation. The signing ceremony was celebrated with opening of Champagne. Dr. Ram Jakhu, Director of International co-operation read the text of declaration which was followed by the dinner.
